A Family Business

Our love and appreciation for the natural beauty of leather came from our father who worked in the leather industry.

From climbing in and amongst the rolls and rolls of leather in the warehouse as small children, to later being shown around the tanneries and factories; we were always learning and taking it all in. Captivated by the processes and intricacies of shoe making, it would forever be a part of our lives.

With our father as our very own leather guru, we've learnt a thing or two about leather and with that, an appreciation of genuinely great leather. All leather is not equal and we want to shout about it.

Growing up, we saw the start of cheaper, lower grade imports begin to flood our local markets. This caused havoc in the industry and only the very best tanneries and factories were able to survive.

We are determined to celebrate our home-grown leather industry and showcase the very best of what we can produce. The quality of our leather is world renowned and exported globally. It’s this same leather that we now choose to create a collection of leather goods proudly made in South Africa.
