James - Low Cut

A low cut style made of Aniline leather - an oil and wax rich leather that is completely natural, unaltered and rugged yet soft and supple to the touch. It has a unique natural appearance which lightens in colour when stretched during wear to produce a unique worn-in effect over time.

Aniline leather is a type of leather that is dyed using aniline dyes. These dyes are transparent, which means they allow the natural colour of the leather to show through.

Only the very best raw hides can be used in Aniline leather, making it the most expensive type of leather and only ever used in high-end shoes.

Each skin is kept as close to its natural state as possible, making each pair of our shoes unique. We do this by only using transparent dyes to celebrate its natural beauty.

Regular leather is not dyed with aniline.
